After lunch at the Bryn Howel hotel, we visted the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct on the Llangollen Canal. The aqueduct was completed in 1808 and, at 125 ft. high, is the highest navigable aqueduct in the world. The day was very windy and the canal boats were being blown up against the edge of the aqueduct making the transit very difficult for the pilots.
