Our second day was spent in Liverpool, a short bus ride from Chester. Liverpool is one of the largest cityies in the UK and famous for its music and art. It’s also the port that was heavily involved in the slave trade in the 18th and early 19th centuries and the embarkation point for many European emigrants to America in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
