Description | Habitat: Desert habitat; dry, rocky ledges, crevices and boulder fields; in Texas, Far West and Big Bend region. Plant: Small perennial to 8-10 inches across; plant curls into a brown ball when dry and opens into a green rosette after rain. Leaves: Small scale-like, oval, overlapping.
