Riquewihr

Riquewihr is another of the small Alsatian towns along the Route des Vins (Wine Road), 7 miles northwest of Colmar and close to other Alsatian villages we visited, such as Ribeauvillé, Hunawihr, and Kaysersberg. It has about 1000 residents and is a popular tourist destination for its historical architecture. It is also known for the Riesling and other wines produced in the village. The town looks today much like it did in the 16th century and suffered little damage during World War II.
