These photographs were taken during our "flightseeing" tour of Denali Park aboard the Denali Air Charters flight around Mt. McKinley on August 25, 2010.
Mount McKinley, also called Denali, comprises two peaks: North Peak, elevation 19,470 ft. and South Peak, elevation 20320 ft. It is a massive mountain, the tallest in North America with the most relief (elevation from base) in the world.
Our plane was twin-engine Piper Navajo. Maximum altitude was 12,000 ft., unpressurized.
